Here are some helpful online resources for students while they are encountering the writing process:
- Citation Resource: This resource is perfect for learning about In-Text Citation For writing a research paper, this is mandatory! You should include a citation for every piece of information that you looked up, including paraphrasing. Here is a helpful summary I've created to narrow down some of the important topics for In Text Citations
- Rhetorical Devices Resource: This is a wonderful resource that outlines some of the most important rhetorical devices for students. The students can use this to help them understand what rhetorical devices are, and how to find them. Students in English 10 and 11 discuss rhetorical devices a lot, and having this list will help them know what to look for.
- MLA Handbook: Students are able to use this website to double check their correct MLA formatting. Many students know the MLA format by high school, but forget what they are. Being able to have access to the handbook to check their formatting will help the students tremendously in their writing.
